Peterslund ekoodling

At Peterslund, biodynamic/organic vegetables are grown on a 2-hectare farm for both fresh sale and fermentation. Their fermented products are available in various stores and two wholesalers in the Sörmland and Stockholm regions. The farm shop is open on weekends from July to October. They also offer vegetable CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscriptions.

Eskilstuna Matkultur

Karin Liljegren, a six-time medal winner at Terra Madre Nordic 2022, specializes in artisanal food processing. She sources her ingredients from local farmers. You can find her products at the farm shop on Närjeholmevägen in Eskilstuna, as well as at Café Ingenstans in Enskede.

Ubsola Gård

At Ubsola farm, vegetables are grown on 5000 square meters specifically for lacto-fermentation. In addition to that, the farm’s purpose is to provide for the family. For many years, the focus has been primarily on horse farming, although there is now some tractor support as well.

Bossgårdens Grönsaker, Tidaholm

At Bossgården, they cultivate vegetables, have sheep and pasture, a few chickens, and summer turkeys. They are Demeter certified, and the farm is self-sufficient in terms of animal feed and fertiliser. They have half a hectare dedicated to vegetable cultivation and 1.5 hectares of arable land. They have also planted fruit trees and offer courses, including a collaboration with Hushållningssällskapet (the Rural Economy and Agricultural Society).

They sell their products at the market in Tidaholm on Wednesdays from Midsummer to the autumn equinox. It is also possible to purchase their products through Reko rings in Falköping and Tidaholm. Additionally, they offer the option to participate in their community-supported agriculture (CSA) program, where they provide processed foods as additional orders.

Frälsegårdens Lantbruk, Vara

Nicklas Blomster at Frälsegården grows organic vegetables on 0,5 hectars and a growing portion of these get fermented and are sold mostly at Lokalen i Vara

Timmervikens Skafferi

At Josefina’s Timmervikens Skafferie in Kode, you will find a wide range of processed products, as well as fresh vegetables and honey. You can also join the Community Beekeeping and subscribe to vegetables. Right now, the farm shop has plenty of fermented beans! Keep an eye on her Instagram/Facebook accounts for upcoming courses.

Therese Trädgårdsmat

Therese Trädgårdsmat offers courses in gardening and processing, as well as cultivating and processing vegetables, including lacto-fermented vegetables

They also operate the food truck “Nära Pära” together with two other businesses. They sell cooked food made from local ingredients, processed products, and some local produce.

They grow some of the vegetables themselves on their farm. They also purchase vegetables from carefully selected farmers in Hälsingland.

At Gåltjärnsgård, Amanda and Magnus cultivate organic vegetables on 1.5 hectares for their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members, their farm shop, REKO rings in Sundsvall and Härnösand, as well as various markets during the season.

Kulturmums is a small and curious artisanal food company based in Gotland. They specialize in fermenting and processing primarily local, organic vegetables, legumes, fruits, berries, and wild plants. Their main product is various forms of kimchi.
